Sydock visual docbook is designed for creating and editing docbook documents in the same way as you would work with regular documents in MS Word. It allows you to:
View and edit your docbook documents created with other programs or manually;
Create and edit new docbook documents;
Avoid any problems with the structure of your docbook documents – Sydock C docbook builds it automatically!
Deal with a familiar environment rather than an alien specialized xml-program;
Save your documents in the following formats:
- xml (Simplified docbook);
- HTML;
- MHT (Web-archive);
- xml (Simplified docbook) as a document imbedded into an MHT-file, which can always be edited later!
- Microsoft Office Word document;
Open and view documents on-line.
This beta-version is a freeware and will be operational for 3 months. After that you’ll have to download a newer version and switch to it.
If you are an active beta-tester, i.e. have discovered three errors, recognized by us, or suggested some kind of improvement accepted for implementation, you can choose between free:
One 5-user beta-license;
Three 1-user beta licenses.
The total number of beta-licenses, acquired by each beta-tester, is unlimited.
The beta-licenses apply to the beta-version of the product. When the final version is released, these licenses can be exchanged for the same type licenses of the final product free of charge. Each beta-license can be exchanged for the final version license only once. Beta-licenses can be handed over to third parties freely. To exchange your beta-license for the final-release license, send a request with the text of your license to docbook_beta[@]sydock.com after the final version of Sydock visual docbook is released.
