Sydock DP allows for text editing in a visual ( WYSIWYG ) form. This means that you don't have to deal with an XML-code, but with a regular text, same as you would do using a regular text processor (for example, MS WORD) As you type your text, Sydock DP automatically forms a correct XML document in accordance with the selected W3C XML schema.

Sydock Document Processor makes use of XSLT и CSS to visualize and edit XML documents. Unlike other XML-document editors, which use only CSS, the realization of a native XSLT processor in Sydock DP allows for visualization and editing not only the whole document, but also for creating a necessary view to visualize and edit only certain elements, parts of a big XML document.

Visual Style Editor

Creating styles is easy with Sydock, even if you are not familiar with the XSL - language for creating styles. A Sydock DP built-in style editor presents style editing in a visual ( WYSIWYG ) form. The editor includes a set of ready-made form controls (check-boxes, combo-boxes, text-fields, drop-down lists etc.), so you can insert them into your document wherever you need them. If you are a professional designer and want to create more complicated schemas, a text style editor is at your service.

The Sydock DP built-in XML Schema Editor facilitates XML schema editing by presenting it in an easily perceived graphic form - in the form of a tree of elements.

Automated Validation

Sydock DP automatically checks all the information entered by the user for its accordance with the designated XML schema and highlights errors. The validation is performed on the client's side, which considerably lightens the server validation scripts. The analysis employs the recommended W3C dialect of XML, highly appropriate for applications processing both data and structured text arrays.
